Parasol Lady (Trainer class) - Bulbapedia, the community-driven Pokmon encyclopedia

From Bulbapedia, the community-driven Pokémon encyclopedia.

A Parasol Lady (Japanese: パラソルおねえさん Parasol Lady) is a type of Pokémon Trainer that debuted in the Generation III games. They are generally depicted as young women in minidress rain coats carrying umbrellas.

They use various Pokémon, with most of them Water-type, but frequently employ moves with weather-altering effects such as Rain Dance. In the Battle Subway, they specialize in Pokémon benefiting from rain (primarily the Electric and Water types), and in the early stages, Normal- and Water-type Pokémon.

A Full Art ultra rare version with artwork by the same illustrator, and a special illustration rare illustrated by En Morikura were released in the same sets. It lets the player shuffle their hand into their deck and draw four cards, or eight cards if they go second and this card is used on their first turn.
